María Casado García-Hirschfeld has been a member of the Madrid and Brussels Bars since 2004. Francophone Bar of Brussels (List E) & Ilustre Colegio de Abogados of Madrid.

She holds a Doctor of Laws (PhD) from the Rey Juan Carlos I University in Madrid and specializes in European Union law, particularly in EU civil service law, enriched with a professional experience of more than 13 years in various fields. First as an assistant to a Member of the European Parliament, followed by experience as an associate lawyer in an international law firm and then as secretary general and legal advisor to professional interest associations with an international vocation.

She is the author of the book published in 2014 by INAP (Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública) “The EU Civil Service: Institutional (Self) Regulation. The General Enforcement Directives (DGE) (Title in Spanish: Función pública de la Unión Europea: (auto) regulación institucional. Las DGA de las instituciones europeas), and several articles in the area of ​​civil service law litigation of the EU.

She is a mediator in the civil and commercial, social and family fields.
